Lincolnshire Eating Disorder Stand

The team from the Lincolnshire Eating Disorder Service will be available throughout the day to share information on the support, assessment and treatment in a variety of community bases across Lincolnshire.  The team is led by dedicated health professionals, who can help explore relationships with food and understand the best way to help in tackling individual problems.

Back Care Talk

The 30 minute talk will aim to cover:

  1. Who gets low back pain?
  2. Explore some common thoughts on low back pain
  3. What exactly is the ‘low back’ and what can make it painful

Meditation Workshop

In today’s modern society we often find ourselves feeling tired, run down, under pressure and lacking energy. We can find ourselves becoming vulnerable to the effects of stress, fear, anxiety, worry and depression. In some cases this may also lead to physical symptoms such as aches and pains, insomnia, digestive disorders, high blood pressure, skin problems etc.

Relaxation and meditation techniques have been scientifically proven and are now widely accepted as a way of dealing with, reducing and even eliminating the effects of these conditions.

This Workshop will give you the opportunity to understand meditation and its benefits, as well as practice and experience it first hand.

To create and maintain a healthy physiology our food must be nourishing, and our digestive power strong.    Ideal nutrition results from consuming a variety of foods, a balanced diet, with a medley of tastes, providing nourishment for our body and mind.  This workshop explores easy but highly effective guidelines for creating and maintaining healthy digestion.
