On Thursday 9th and Friday 10th March, free smoothies will be on offer to staff and students from 07.00 - 10.00am (valid student or staff ID card will need to be presented to qualify for a smoothie).

Health Checks

In partnership with our Occupational Health Provider RPS, the University is offering the opportunity for staff and students to discuss their health and lifestyle with an occupational health nurse and to undergo measurement of:

  • Height

  • Weight

  • Body Mass Index

  • Blood pressure

  • Cholesterol testing

  • Glucose testing

The assessments are 30 minutes long, completely confidential and for your individual benefit only.

Please note that spaces are available on a first come first serve basis therefore we cannot guarantee you a booking.

Reflexology taster Sessions

Reflexology is a relaxing non-invasive holistic therapy. It involves applying pressure to feet and hands using specialised thumb, finger or knuckle massage techniques. Reflexology concentrates on re-balancing the body to achieve its natural internal state. Stimulating the body’s energy channels can help to correct any imbalances and congested areas within.
